Hi Michael & Dan,

I have been using PowerDNS for quite some time now and never had
performance issues that could not have been easily sorted out with a quick
mail to the list with details of my config and setup. We have quite a
large and complex setup for some of our customes and rely heavily on the
gmysql backend. We did have a few performance issues but that was down to
the MySQL servers not having enough memory for the setup they were
expected to deal with. Once we got that sorted, pdns has simply sat there
and done the job very well IMHO. Its done such a great job, that we will
soon open up our infrastructure to the public as a whole and are very
confident pdns will be able to cope with the loads.

In short, pdns rock, if you have erformance or indeed any problems with
it, mail the list and we'll help sort them out if we can.

AJ
