Hi!
We are going to use powerdns for a kind of DNS hosting.
We should allow users to allow axfr queries for certain IP for their
domains, and forbid all the others.
In the mailing list I found a patch that would solve this task for
stable release:
http://mailman.powerdns.com/pipermail/pdns-dev/2009-April/000806.html
Also I found out that such functionality is already included in 3.0pre
out of box.
As far as stable release also misses "change_date" feature that also
will be very useful (http://wiki.powerdns.com/trac/ticket/336) I were
thinking about to start using 3.0pre if both of the problems are solved
there.
The questions are:
1. Are there any other ACL solutions for pdns I've missed?
2. How stable are pdns 3.0pre, and how soon it would be released? If
the http://wiki.powerdns.com/trac/roadmap is about 3.0pre it seems to
be almost ready.
