Hi all,
I am planning to migrate away from Bind to PowerDNS with MySQL and Geo backend, but so far have failed. The PowerDNS part and MySQL has worked, but the geo part didn't work. What I mean by this is that when I check from (for
example) Asia:
$ dig @203.123.59.184 www.test.com
; <<>> DiG 9.3.4-P1 <<>> @203.123.59.184 www.test.com
; (1 server found)
;; global options: printcmd
;; Got answer:
;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: NOERROR, id: 25260
;; flags: qr aa rd; QUERY: 1, ANSWER: 1, AUTHORITY: 1, ADDITIONAL: 0
;; QUESTION SECTION:

It doesn't show the resulting A record for geo.test.com (which should be as.iso.test.com).
This is my records from mysql:
