[Pdns-users] Wildcard Bug or Feature?

Hello,

we have upgraded one of our nameservers to version 2.9.22. Our other
nameservers are running version 2.9.17. We have the following zone:

test.domain.com. IN AAAA ::1
*.domain.com. IN A 127.0.0.2

If I query for an A record I get different results for both versions:

$ dig A @version-2.9.17 test.domain.com +short
78.47.43.229

$ dig A @version-2.9.22 test.domain.com +short

Is it a bug or a feature that this will not resolve anymore? Is there an
RFC who specify it?

Best regards,

Mario Peschel
