Hi there,

I'am a bit confused. We are running a PDNS 2.9.20 widh generic mysql
Backend. And every time I modify my zone (SERIAL changes) I got these
log entries:

---------------------------------------
1) May 29 17:47:47 dns01 pdns[855]: 1 domain for which we are master
needs notifications
2) May 29 17:47:47 dns01 pdns[855]: Received NOTIFY for mydomain.de from
1.1.1.1 which is not a master
3) May 29 17:47:47 dns01 pdns[855]: AXFR of domain 'mydomain.de'
initiated by 2.2.2.2
4) May 29 17:47:47 dns01 pdns[855]: AXFR of domain 'mydomain.de' to
2.2.2.2 finished

1.1.1.1 = my DNS Server
2.2.2.2 = slave Server (IMHO running Bind)
---------------------------------------

1) OK, makes sense.

2) huh? why 1.1.1.1 is not the master?
In my database domains table the master row is empty as mentioned in the
docs, should the 1.1.1.1 in here?

3+4) our secondary picks up the data successfully, no prob so far.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Best Regards

--Michael
