[Pdns-users] problem using pdns_control notify

I'm trying to send a notify after modification so my slaves DNS updates.

but when I execute

pdns_control notify domainname

it freeze there and does nothing

this time I tried doing first

pdns_control version

it answer right away, then I ran notify, freeze, tried version again, and
version was freezing as well since the notify.

I am using powerdns 2.9.20 on FreeBSD 6.1
I installed it from the ports tree using this compiler
gcc (GCC) 3.4.4 [FreeBSD] 20050518

syntax: notify domain

avantech-e.co.jp

[root at avantech1 ~]# pdns_control --config-dir=/usr/local/etc/ version

[root at avantech1 ~]# pdns_control --config-dir=/usr/local/etc/ status
^C
[root at avantech1 ~]#


What I want is to be able to send a notify to the slaves DNS when I change
the IP of a A record for example.
