Hi,

I seem to have a problem that many messages from a webserver, or emailserver do not arrive on certain places.

Now i found that it could be the reason, that i do not have SPF records for reverse DNS.

Can anyone tell me how i should use them in PDNS? At this moment i tried just to add a PTR record, like this:

name type Content
domeinname.com PTR 123.123.123.1
domeinname.com PTR 123.123.123.1

123.123.123.1 is my webserver
123.123.123.2 is my mailserver

Now when i check http://www.dnsreport.com/tools/dnsreport.ch?domain=domainname.com (after a day with the real domain)

I still have a warning about not having a spf record.

Can anyone tell me how to work on this in PowerDNS?

Im new to PDNS and new To SPF, so i hope someone can explain in detail.

thanks,

Peter.
