Note that if all of your zones use the same type -- such as in the
OP's case -- one can avoid having a type column in the db by using
a custom query which hardcodes the desired type.

Whether a clever custom query could replace records:domain_id with
a records:domain_name, OTOH, I'm not sure.  But it'd not surprise.

Find a sql wiz for a definitive answer.
