[Pdns-users] Recursion problems

I am having recursion problems with the latest version of PowerDNS. I
chose to use djb's dnscache for recursion, which seemed to be working well
for the first couple days. Now, it does not work at all. Should dnscache
be started first (before PDNS)? When I do start dnscache first, then try
to start PDNS:

Nov 12 10:48:16 mail pdns[19083]: Guardian is launching an instance
Nov 12 10:48:16 mail pdns[19083]: This is a guarded instance of pdns
Nov 12 10:48:16 mail pdns[19083]: It is advised to bind to explicit
addresses with the --local-address option
Nov 12 10:48:16 mail pdns[19083]: binding to UDP socket: Address already
in use
Nov 12 10:48:16 mail pdns[19083]: Fatal error: Unable to bind to UDP socket
Nov 12 10:48:17 mail pdns[19065]: Our pdns instance exited with code 1
Nov 12 10:48:17 mail pdns[19065]: Respawning

It looks like its trying to bind localhost:53, which dnscache has already
done? How can I make dnscache and PDNS run simutaniously with no
problems?

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Josh Baird
