Hello,
I want to ask, if somebody know anything about PowerDNS crashes in OpenBSD.
I am running PowerDNS on my one machine, it's not working well, it works
fine for about 1-2 hours and crashes, from unknown for me reason.(core dump)
Machine OS:
OpenBSD 3.3 (GENERIC) #44: Sat Mar 29 13:22:05 MST 2003
deraadt at i386.openbsd.org:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/GENERIC
PowerDNS version 2.9.6
Made from port :
http://www.codeninja.nl/openbsd/powerdns/port-powerdns-2.9.6.tgz
That's on my first machine.
Yesterday I wanted to start PowerDNS on my second machine.
But it won't even work for 5 minutes, right after startup it crashes.(core
dump)
Machine OS:
OpenBSD 3.4-current (GENERIC) #51: Sun Dec 28 17:28:41 MST 2003
deraadt at i386.openbsd.org:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/GENERIC
Made from the same port, like in the first machine.
On both machines compiler is :
gcc version 2.95.3 20010125 (prerelease, propolice), slight changes on the
3.4-current to the compiler
Does anybody had the same issue, and got rid of it ?
