Norbert/Bert,

        Thanks. I can't believe I did that :)

There still seems to be a problem, but I don't think it's with
Power DNS. The output (with the CORRECT dig parameters LOL) is:

;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: NOERROR, id: 60524
;; flags: qr aa rd; QUERY: 1, ANSWER: 1, AUTHORITY: 0, ADDITIONAL: 0

;; QUESTION SECTION:
;38.108.224.199.in-addr.arpa. IN PTR

;; ANSWER SECTION:
38.108.224.199.in-addr.arpa. 3600 IN PTR www.luzerne.edu.

;; Query time: 1 msec

Notice the output when I do the same thing against my ISPs DNS:

[root at tomcat root]# dig @199.224.86.20 -x 199.224.108.38

; <<>> DiG 9.2.0 <<>> @199.224.86.20 -x 199.224.108.38
;; global options: printcmd
;; Got answer:
;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: SERVFAIL, id: 5331
;; flags: qr rd ra; QUERY: 1, ANSWER: 0, AUTHORITY: 0, ADDITIONAL: 0

;; QUESTION SECTION:
;38.108.224.199.in-addr.arpa. IN PTR

;; Query time: 15 msec
;; SERVER: 199.224.86.20#53(199.224.86.20)
;; WHEN: Thu Sep 4 12:40:19 2003
;; MSG SIZE rcvd: 45

This seems to the be result when I perform the query against
anything but my own DNS servers.

My ISP and other DNS servers can do forward lookups and show
recently made changes (results not being displayed from cache).

        Bob
