[Pdns-users] pdns_server dieing

I'm currently trying to get powerdns working. I configured powerdns
with a mysql backend. But powerdns keeps crashing with the following
error:

Jun 08 22:37:54 Communicator thread died because of error: GSQLBackend
unable to retrieve list of slave domains: Failed to execute
mysql_query: Lost connection to MySQL server during query

I noticed that when I raise slave-cycle-interval to a certain number
exactly then pdns_server crashes. So it has to do something with
slaves.
I went throw my configuration several times but can't notice anything
strange. So if anyone got a suggestion of what it can be I would be
more then glad.

I'm running FreeBSD 4.8R and I'm using the latest version of powerdns
out of the ports collection.
