Hi,
An rpath is detected in pdns-recursor-5.3.0 when building the SRPM on
https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org in the Fedora 43 chroot. No rpath is
detected when building the same SRPM in the Fedora 42 chroot.
Full Fedora 43 buildlog here:
https://download.copr.fedorainfracloud.org/results/patrickl/pdns-recursor/fedora-43-x86_64/09676903-pdns-recursor/builder-live.log
Full Fedora 42 buildlog here:
https://download.copr.fedorainfracloud.org/results/patrickl/pdns-recursor/fedora-42-x86_64/09676903-pdns-recursor/builder-live.log.gz
The spec file is available here:
https://download.copr.fedorainfracloud.org/results/patrickl/pdns-recursor/fedora-42-x86_64/09676903-pdns-recursor/pdns-recursor.spec
Snippet from the F43 buildlog:
+ /usr/lib/rpm/check-rpaths
...
ERROR 0001: file '/usr/bin/pdns_recursor' contains a standard runpath
'/usr/lib' in [/usr/lib]
error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.sZMz21 (%install)
...
Any ideas how to prevent this rpath from sneeking into the build on F43?
Best,
Patrick
