Looking at the draft, contrib would be a fine place for a small
daemon/script in python that can do the HTTP(S) requests and utilize
the API (or call pdnsutil) to modify HTTPS records.
If your code is quite involved (e.g. a big application), I would
recommend using its own git repository.
If you would add a script to contrib, please keep in mind that this
would be licensed under the GNU GPL version 2. If you want is licensed
under a different license, please add it to the file (or keep it in a
separate repository).
