While shuffling some infrastructure around, we accidentally deployed the
Enterprise documentation to that URL. We're sorry this caused confusion.

The LS docs already had this Open Source section
(https://doc.powerdns.com/lightningstream/latest/index.html#open-source),
explaining the difference between the two. There is no plan to make the
open source LS disappear, but some features desirable for really big
deployments might only appear in the Enterprise version.

I hope that clears it up for you and takes away your fears. If not,
