that's a bummer. may i ask, what you you then recommend for syncing two 
servers? the docs (I believe) say it's better to rely on the sql server 
for replication. so do you suggest reverting to mysql's master-slave or 
master-master replication scheme instead of group? or something else...?

is there any plans for group replication being made compatible?
