Hello!

We released PowerDNS DNSdist 1.9.8 today, fixing several issues:

- Caching of responses with an EDNS Client Subnet scope set to zero was
broken if the corresponding queries had been received over DNS over HTTPS
- The balancing factors of weighted and consistent hashing policies
could not be reset to their initial values
- The Lua hook invoked when a new TLS session ticket key is set did not
properly handle null characters

A few improvements were also made:

- Lua functions can now access the elapsed time since a query was
received (many thanks to phonedph1)
- It's now possible to load a TLS session ticket key from memory,
without having to write it to a file
- Error messages have been improved when trying to update a custom metric

Please see the DNSdist website [1] for the more complete changelog [2]
and the current documentation. The upgrade guide is also available there
[3].

Please send us all feedback and issues you might have via the mailing
list, or in case of a bug, via GitHub [4].

The release tarball [5] and its signature [6] are available on the
downloads website, and packages for several distributions are available
from our repository [7].
