[Pdns-users] regarding chroot option provided for PDNS Authoritative Server

Dear Sir,

Can any one explain requirements of chroot configuration for PDNS Authoritative server? 
If PDNS is installed in the cloud environment and only PDNS application is running on a 
cloud instance or VM, Do we still need to configure for chroot option in PDNS to fullfill 
purpose of chroot?
