I have the patch rebased for 4.1, but not yet for 4.2.

BUt in this case, it would even be better to not check all masters, but 
only the one who sent the NOTIFY. For this, the master-IP would have to 
be kept in the zones-liste queued for slave checks. (and of course this 
only works if the NOTIFY is not proxied somewhere)
