[Pdns-users] CNAME not advertised on A/AAAA request

Hi Bert,

there are no A/AAAA records for this name.
If I check-zone it, it complains, that I did not set up delegation in ".".
I have a "." zone to fake not-(yet-)existing zones (because of
cache-lag / hidden master).

root at dnsmaster01:~# pdnsutil check-zone example.com
Jan 17 14:36:34 Reading random entropy from '/dev/urandom'
[Error] No delegation for zone 'example.com' in parent '.'
Checked 22 records of 'example.com', 1 errors, 0 warnings.

Local CNAMEs work, for example "ftp.example.com" to "www.example.com".

I did some tests with other zones on the same server, there I was able
to get the correct CNAME.
That's why I don't understand the problem ;-)

Kevin
