[Pdns-users] pdns-recursor and local cache

Hi!
i am using pdns-recursor and would like it to have like a local cache that can be read from a file.
i know pdns-recursor can read /etc/hosts file to serve entries from it before trying to reolve them... is this the best way? will it work ok for a huge hosts file?
