Hi,

you first need to upgrade 3.2 to 3.4.10 with this guide: https://doc.powerdns.com/3/authoritative/upgrading/
Then follow this upgrade guide for migration to 4.2: https://doc.powerdns.com/authoritative/upgrading.html

You should not do this on your production machine. Make careful tests with a cloned machine first to make sure nothing breaks during the migration.
