Did you try googling "powerdns alias record"?  Here is the first hit:

https://doc.powerdns.com/authoritative/guides/alias.html

and the third hit:
https://doc.powerdns.com/authoritative/appendices/types.html#alias

This says that the feature was introduced in 4.0.0, so you'll need to 
upgrade.
