[Pdns-users] Dynamic mangling and forward of DNS queries

Hi all,
I am new to PowerDNS and I have a very special use-case. I hope that the
flexibility of PowerDNS can help me out...

Please confirm if this scenario can be solved in either way.

I have a client asking my server for www1.sld1.tld1.
I need to:
- incercept this specific request: this specific qname
- change the requested name to www2.sld2.tld2
- forward this modified request to a specific upstream DNS server
- provide the answered IP to the requestor

Is this possible? Maybe even using some LUA magic...?
