Hi everyone,

First, please know we are aware our mailinglist is leaking spam to you. We
are not happy with the state of our mailinglists after the migration to
Mailman3 and we'll keep you posted with what we'll do to improve things.

Secondly, we have documented the 4.0.0 commandline based zone editing
infrastructure in a new blogpost

"I (Bert) have to admit something. Even though I set out to write a database
driven nameserver 16 years ago.. I have never actually liked maintaining
domains in a database. Of course, most large scale PowerDNS users have
web-interfaces and scripts to provision the database. But out of the box,
you could either use the pretty cool ¿BIND¿ backend in PowerDNS.. or edit

Today I¿m proud to announce that for the first time I personally enjoy
editing my domains with PowerDNS. For completeness, this post will outline
the full process of setting up a redundant PowerDNS server setup."

It includes a pretty cool animation & we hope you enjoy this new interface!
