[Pdns-users] Scritping

Hello everyboy!
I'd like to manipulate the answers based on the status of a specific server
and would like to use pdns's scritping ability to do this. Up to this point
I have only found the ability to use lua for the recursor:

I am curious as where I can find more information about „DNS answers can also
be fully scripted using a variety of (scripting) languages such as Lua, Java,
Perl, Python, Ruby, C and C++. Such scripting can be used for dynamic redirection,
(spam) filtering or real time intervention.” (https://www.powerdns.com/auth.html)

Is there anything I might not have found?
