hi,all
i want to build a PowerDNS from the repository and i found some
instructions here:
http://wiki.powerdns.com/trac/wiki/HACKING
but when i run "autoreconf -i", something seems wrong.
# autoreconf -i
libtoolize: putting auxiliary files in `.'.
libtoolize: copying file `./ltmain.sh'
libtoolize: Consider adding `AC_CONFIG_MACRO_DIR([m4])' to configure.ac and
libtoolize: rerunning libtoolize, to keep the correct libtool macros
in-tree.
libtoolize: Consider adding `-I m4' to ACLOCAL_AMFLAGS in Makefile.am.
configure.ac:42: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_DEFINE
If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
See the Autoconf documentation.
autoreconf: /usr/local/bin/autoconf failed with exit status: 1
with exactly the same version of automake, autoconf and libtool found on
the page:
http://wiki.powerdns.com/trac/wiki/HACKING
autoconf 2.59
automake 1.6 or 1.9.4
libtool 1.5.6
are there any other softwares should be used with certain version?
thanks a lot.
cathy
