Right now I have discovered that there is no asprintf() in Solaris 10.
Will you please incorporate code from:

https://hg.openindiana.org/upstream/oracle/onnv-gate/raw-file/b23a4dab3d50/usr/src/lib/libc/port/print/asprintf.c

somewhere between "compatibility" shims?
