[Pdns-users] distributor-threads=1 ignored?

I am using pdns 2.9, on redhat 5.5, using rpms from EPEL.

pdns-2.9.22-3.el5
pdns-backend-pipe-2.9.22-3.el5

Why would htop show six threads... I thought I'd only see one process/thread.

My conf file has:

[root at web04 ~]# cat /etc/pdns/pdns.conf | egrep -v '^#' |egrep -v '^$'
setuid=pdns
setgid=pdns
wildcards=no
default-soa-name=ns.example.com
distributor-threads=1
webserver=yes
webserver-address=0.0.0.0
webserver-password=#######
webserver-port=8081
wildcards=no
launch=bind
bind-config=/etc/pdns/named.conf
