Istvan,

Depending on how things work, PowerDNS can indeed benefit from multiple
processors. When serving data entirely from the cache, however, most of the
load will fall on one CPU.

I think this is what you saw in your earlier measurements.

We could improve on this if needed, but so far it has not been an issue.
