[Pdns-users] Super newbie question

Hi,

I was wondering if PowerDNS is able to utilize as an auhtoritive nameserver multiple processors.

I am involved in some testing, and it shows that on a Linux Redhat ES5 the powerDNS utilizes a single processor only and the throughput is roughly 20K/s for authoritive data.

Has something totally gone wrong, or is it a normal operation? (It is not a powerDNS recursur installation.)
