[Pdns-users] Performance tuning

Hi,

i've read in the powerdns documentation that the use of the packetcache 
could hurt the performance
while using a memory based backend.  I'd like to know if  this is the 
case when the bind backend is in use.

The phenomenon on our server is that we have peaks of packet lost around 
10 percent. Could turn off the
cache bring an performance boost? How can i disable the cache?
