You could edit sysconfs/Solaris.inc in the PowerDNS source and remove the
lines mentioning portsmplexer.o, which would get you a slower PowerDNS that
does work fine on a buggy Solaris kernel.

I've CC'd Jan who might know the exact revision which solved the problems.
