Hi Juergen,
After a little tweaking it works. Thought I'd post the steps that work
on Solaris 10 just in case anyone else wants PowerDNS on Solaris 10:
pkg-get -i mysql5client # pkg-get is part of Blastwave
pkg-get -i mysql5devel
pkg-get -i boost_rt
pkg-get -i boost_devel
ln -s /opt/csw/mysql5/lib/mysql /usr/lib/mysql
crle -l /lib:/usr/local/lib:/opt/csw/lib:/usr/lib:/opt/csw/bdb44/lib:/opt/csw/mysql5/lib
./configure --localstatedir=/var/run --with-pic --enable-shared
--with-mysql-includes=/opt/csw/mysql5/include/
CXXFLAGS="-I/opt/csw/include -DSOLARIS" LDFLAGS="-L/opt/csw/lib
-lsocket -lnsl"
You can ignore the "-pthread" errors that g++ throws. Also, don't
build with --enable-recursor. The recursor outside of being a hunk of
junk, also doesn't build correctly on Solaris (its a hunk of junk on
Linux too just as a reference).
