Hi,

from my pdns 2.9.20 I get different answers for the SOA of a domain:

[tks at aventurine:pdns-2.9.20] /usr/sbin/dig soa kimbrien.de @212.1.35.86
+nocomments +noquery

; <<>> DiG 9.2.4 <<>> soa kimbrien.de @212.1.35.86 +nocomments +noquery
;; global options: printcmd
kimbrien.de. 21660 IN SOA ns-auth1-ham.mcs.de.
hostmaster.mcs.de. 2006101308 28800 7200 604800 3500

----------------------
[tks at aventurine:pdns-2.9.20] /usr/sbin/dig axfr kimbrien.de @212.1.35.86
+nocomments +noquery

; <<>> DiG 9.2.4 <<>> axfr kimbrien.de @212.1.35.86 +nocomments +noquery
;; global options: printcmd
kimbrien.de. 3500 IN SOA ns-auth1-ham.mcs.de.
hostmaster.mcs.de. 2006101308 28800 7200 604800 3500
kimbrien.de. 21660 IN NS ns-auth-old.mcs.de.
kimbrien.de. 21660 IN NS ns2.mcs-hh.de.
kimbrien.de. 21660 IN NS ns-auth-muc.mcs.de.
kimbrien.de. 21660 IN NS ns.mcs-hh.de.
kimbrien.de. 3500 IN SOA ns-auth1-ham.mcs.de.
hostmaster.mcs.de. 2006101308 28800 7200 604800 3500

Please have a look at the TTL of the SOA-record !

Asking for just the soa, I get the correct TTL of 21660.
In the AXFR, the SOA get a TTL of 3500, which is the minimum-TTL from the soa.

Any ideas about the behaviour ?
IMHO it should be the same value (21660) for both requests.

Kind Regards
Christian
