[Pdns-users] Disable a record instend of deleting it?

Is there any way to disable a record in powerdns
without deleting it?

If not, I was thinking that it should be as simple as
having an extra field in the records table that
defults to 1 but if a 0 exist have powerdns ignore the
record.
