Hi,

I think we have hit the same bug today.
precursor died after 25day uptime without any notice. Then we could see
only pdns trying to query recursor without success:

Mar 2 10:30:52 pdns[25848]: Recursive query for remote 10.20.0.2 with
internal id 0 was not answered by backend within timeout, reusing id
Mar 2 10:30:52 pdns[25848]: Error receiving packet from recursor
backend: Connection refused
Mar 2 10:30:54 last message repeated 13 times

Using 2.9.19

Does anyone have advise for any workaround or something what could avoid
this critical problem ?

Thanks

Tomas
