Hi,

Try using the command dig rather with the option -p 5300 as your
port....

eg.

dig -p 5300 www.example.com @127.0.0.1

Subject: [Pdns-users] error when testing install

Hi!
After install pdns by rpm on Linux box (cpanel server) , I follow the
instruction on
http://downloads.powerdns.com/documentation/html/testing.html

I type :
host www.example.com 127.0.0.1
and I get 192.0.34.166 , I know this is because of bind on my machine
still take control,
I try add local-port=5300 to pdns.conf, and try again, get same answer,
what should I do ?

Regards,

James
