Please provide a lot more detail. Did you compile it yourself?
How does it crash?

Can you let it run in the foreground like this:

while true
do
	pdns_recursor --daemon=no
	echo crashed
done

And let us know what it says just before it crashes?

I have one other report of problems like these, but it is not specific.
