[Pdns-users] powerdns_server crashes after a few minutes

I'm using PowerDNS 2.9.17, compiled from source, running on CentOS 4.0 (a
RHEL4 clone).  My configure parameters were as follows:

  ./configure --enable-pdns_server --enable-recursor --without-mysql

When I first started trying PowerDNS and encountering this problem, it was
on Mandrakelinux 10.1, using the PowerDNS 2.9.17 RPM from Mandriva 10.2.  I
encountered the same problems.  I switched to CentOS and compiling from
source to make sure that it wasn't a Mandrake peculiarity or patch causing
the issue.
