Okay, going to use MyIsam tables for now.
I like to stick to them because my backup solution currently uses
mysqlhotcopy which only works with MyIsam tables. I can't take the database
server offline or backup using replication at this time.
To hot-copy innoDB tables I would have to use mysqldump or the commercial
innoDB hot backup solution (http://www.innodb.com/order.php). If you know an
other tool that does this I would love to hear about it.
