[Pdns-users] ldap backend and record types

Hi Alan,

This is probably due to hosts that have IPv6 enabled and whom are doing an
IPv6 record lookup first before doing a IPv4 lookup. Its quite common
nowdays.

Maybe an idiots question but???

Ihave a lot of request on our dns servers for

AAAA records since changing to pdns. (always a hassle having consolidated
log reporting)

Can anyone assist me with why these are being requested and what they are?
