Hi,

PDNS is working perfectly here and therefor I haven't looked at the logfiles for a while. But today I looked into the logfiles for no reason, and found messages that I did not see the last time I checked the logfile:

Sep 5 13:51:11 server1 pdns[19681]: Not authoritative for '', sending servfail to 207.44.202.107 (recursion was desired)
Sep 5 13:51:35 server1 pdns[19681]: Not authoritative for '195.26.113.72.in-addr.arpa', sending servfail to 66.98.152.55 (recursion was desired)

I think these messages are not related, but I was wondering what is causing this kind of requests. Especially the second one where something is trying to do a reverse lookup for an IP address that is not used by me. Why does it select my DNS server to try to resolve the reverse lookup?

Kind regards,
