[Pdns-users] question on chroot

hi,

i'm quite new to powerdns but this seems to be a really nice piece of 
software.

but i don't understand a chroot-issue:
when i tell pdns to chroot to /var/chroot/pdns how he can stay connected to 
/var/run/pdns.controlsocket?

lsof -U -a -p `cat /var/run/pdns.pid` shows me:
COMMAND     PID     USER   FD   TYPE     DEVICE SIZE   NODE NAME
pdns_serv 32676 powerdns    3u  unix 0xec85b000      868907 socket
pdns_serv 32676 powerdns    4u  unix 0xec85b400      868909 
/var/run/pdns.controlsocket

am i missing something?
