HI Guys,
Im just wondering if there is ANY way to log the pdns_recursor output to a
particular file!?
My /var/log/messages file is filling up with:
Feb 9 10:43:01 ns1 pdns_recursor[24732]: TCP Remote 127.0.0.1 connected

Im running the pdns server and recursor on the same box for legacy
reasons. Its a RedHat 9 box.
Also, Ive put:
local0.info -/var/log/pdns/info
local0.warn -/var/log/pdns/warn
local0.err /var/log/pdns/err
in my /etc/syslog.conf as per the pdns documentation, and it does indeed
write to these files (all though its the same
data in every file!) but it also writes to my /var/log/messages file!
Which is getting real anoying! Is there any way to stop this?
Thanks
Mathew Walker
