[Pdns-users] Help! Various issues with DNS Settings (Mainly S OA)

Does this sound a reasonable explination....

ns2 has never worked...ya know why..because i forgot to open port 53 on the
firewall for that server.. D'OH!!!!
So whats happened instead is that ns1 has answered a query for dnsfusion
which Nildram's (the isp for ns2) DNS servers have cached.

Now whenever i query the address for dnsfusion.com, it somehow uses the
response cached on nildrams dns servers, thus returning out of date
information, and also giving me a load of crap about non-authorative
dns...blah blah blah.

So the solution should be just to open up port 53 on ns2's firewall..and
away we go (as long as nildrams dns server doesn't somehow linger around).

Also, does anyone know how i can get hold of the 'Corporate' version of
PowerDNSAdmin?

Indeed...

How about this: shut down pdns entirely on ns2, and run that dnsreport
again. What happens?
