Alex,

We have the same problem with PDNS 2.9.16 and godbc backend. We use Windows
2000 and MsSQL 2000.

For that reason we are using PDNS 2.9.6 and odbc backend. The problem with
this version is that it is leaks memory and Windows needs to be restarted
often.

If anyone or you has a solution please let us know.

Thank you.

Hi,

Have to say that I'm very impressed with what I see of PowerDNS so
far, but I'd like to use it with the MS SQL DB we currently use for our
control panel, as then I can just add the record table to the db.

However in my testing I'm coming across problems using it with MS
SQL 2000. I'm running Windows 2003 Server and MS SQL 2000 SP3 (Dual P4 Xeon
3.06Ghz/2Gb Ram/4x160GB SATA RAID).

The error I'm getting in the log is as follows:

Is there some specific guide to setting PowerDNS up with MS SQL? I've
created the System DSN for PowerDNS as specified in the manual, but beyond
this I can't see any further info!

Anyone got any ideas, or is willing to share how they got theirs working?

Kind Regards,
