[Pdns-users] PDNS 2.9.11 insists it's not authoritative

and you have justhe.net in your database, including SOA record?

If it is listed does not matter - what matters if there is a SOA record.
Also, please show me the output of:

dig justthe.net SOA @your-powerdns-ip-address
