[Pdns-users] PowerDNS 2.9.11 and an Opteron

Been carousing through different DNS servers, trying to replace bind,
and stumbled upon PowerDNS.
My (new) server, that I wish to run this on is a dual Opteron 240,
running Gentoo Linux. I've pretty much had no problems running in pure
64bit mode, with any apps whatsoever.
However, with PowerDNS, I can compile the software fine, but I get the
following when trying to install it:
Oct 10 01:46:03 Got a signal 6, attempting to print trace:
Oct 10 01:46:03 /usr/sbin/pdns_server [0x476c69]
Oct 10 01:46:03 /usr/lib/gcc-lib/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.1/libgcc_s.so.1
[0x2a96315a60]
If I switch to my 32bit chroot jail, I can compile and run the software
just fine.
My 32bit and 64bit use similar CFLAGS, just one is 32bit vs. 64bit.
Any suggestions what may be happening here? I'd really prefer to leave
everything in 64bit mode if I can :) It's just so much snappier.
Thanks!
