No problem. The problem seems to persist though:
bombadil:~# grep chroot /etc/powerdns/pdns.conf
# chroot If set, chroot to this directory for more security
chroot=/var/run/pdns
bombadil:~#
bombadil:~# ls /var/run/pdns/etc/resolv.conf
/var/run/pdns/etc/resolv.conf
bombadil:~#
bombadil:~# cat /var/run/pdns/etc/resolv.conf
search tolkien.dk fork.dk
nameserver 80.80.2.6
...
nameserver 62.242.234.100
order file bind
bombadil:~#
I then did /etc/init.d/pdns stop ; /etc/inid.d/pdns start
This was then logged by powerdns (after incrementing a domains serial):
Aug 22 21:38:16 bombadil pdns[24328]: 1 domain for which we are master
needs notifications
Aug 22 21:38:16 bombadil pdns[24328]: Unable to queue notification of
domain 'boll-overgaard.com': nameservers do not resolve!
